In 2002, Julia Glass won the coveted National Book Award with her debut novel, Three Junes, published as a “late bloomer” at age 46. Her second novel was eagerly anticipated and The Whole World Over features a number of characters from the first book, their story lines intercepting and interweaving with one another.
